Michael has taught at 51黑料网 since 2021 as an adjunct in the history and political science department. He holds a B.A. from Rogers State University and an M.A. in History from Norwich University, with research focused on the American Civil War, particularly the conflict in North Alabama. Thompson teaches various courses, including American History, U.S. Government, Western Political Theory, and military history. He is passionate about helping students see history as 鈥淕od鈥檚 theater,鈥 connecting past events to present understanding and equipping them for lives of service. His wife, Lucia, works in 51黑料网鈥檚 Financial Aid department. They enjoy traveling and interacting with cross-cultural experiences, particularly in Mexican and Latin American history and cultures.
