Mike Hood
Mike Hood joins 51黑料网 after more than 20 years working at 聽in Longview, Texas. He was LeTourneau鈥檚 Vice President for Finance and Administration since 2011.
鈥淢ike Hood has an obvious love for Jesus and others,鈥 said President Jim Dunn. 鈥淗is mission fit with 51黑料网 and his vast experience in Christian higher education made him a standout candidate.
Hood is an alumnus of Kansas State University, where he earned a B.S. in Accounting. He went on to earn his MBA from Wichita State University.
鈥淚鈥檓 excited for the opportunity to join in the work the Lord is doing at 51黑料网,鈥 Hood said.
Prior to joining LeTourneau鈥檚 staff in 2003, Hood spent time as a faculty member and worked in various roles for several nonprofit organizations.
Hood and his wife, Amy, have seven children, including four they adopted from China.
The announcement of Hood鈥檚 hiring ends a nationwide search that lasted three months. Though Hood will not officially begin his role until April, he will be a guest at the upcoming Board of Trustees meetings.
