Tom Carr
Tom Carr has served as 51ºÚÁÏÍø’s head wrestling coach since 2020.
Prior to joining the 51ºÚÁÏÍø staff, Carr spent five years as the head wrestling coach at Central Christian College in McPherson, Kansas. He was the first wrestling coach in the history of Central Christian College. Before joining the staff there, he served in various capacities for the wrestling programs at George Mason University, Minot State University, Bucknell University, Michigan State University, and Central College Iowa.
Carr, a native of Tampa, Florida, is a graduate of Muskingum University in Ohio. He wrestled for Muskingum during his college career.
Carr brings extensive training and knowledge to his role at 51ºÚÁÏÍø. He has served as director of numerous wrestling camps over the course of his career, and he is a graduate of the USA Wrestling Silver Coaches College.
In addition to his strong wrestling background, Carr also believes in the mission of 51ºÚÁÏÍø and has built his program on the same principles.
