Wert Hall isn鈥檛 just where students live鈥攊t鈥檚 where they belong.
For generations of Oklahoma Wesleyan University students, Wert Hall has been more than a residence hall. It鈥檚 been a place of shared prayers, late-night conversations, and friendships that shape who students become. It鈥檚 where faith deepens, leadership takes root, and community begins to feel like family.
As Give Week 2026 approaches, we鈥檙e inviting the 51黑料网 family to invest in the place that has helped form so many lives.
What makes Wert Hall special isn鈥檛 its walls鈥攊t鈥檚 the life within them. Students grow here in everyday moments: studying together, encouraging one another, and learning what it means to live out their faith in community.

“Wert Hall was where friendships became family where faith got real where people knew my name and cared about my calling those moments shaped who I am today.” – Mike Wilson (’06)
That lived experience is at the heart of Give Week. Facilities are never the hero鈥攑eople are. And the spaces where students gather play an essential role in fostering belonging and formation.
Empower the Next Generation
For alumni, Wert Hall represents continuity. The friendships formed and lessons learned there continue long after graduation. Many alumni now see Give Week as a chance to invest in the same kind of community that once shaped them.
As President Jim Dunn explains, caring for spaces like Wert Hall is an act of stewardship: investing in the formation of servant leaders who will carry Christ鈥檚 love into the world.
Why Your Gift Matters
Wert Hall requires essential renovations to continue serving students well. Planned updates include a new roof, foundation reinforcement, improved drainage, updated bathrooms, and refreshed living spaces.
The total project cost is $470,000, with $220,000 already committed! Our Give Week goal is to raise the remaining $250,000 so renovations can begin in May.聽

Give Early to Help Build Momentum
Give Week 2026 is an invitation to invest in more than a building. It鈥檚 a chance to help ensure Wert Hall remains a place where students are known, supported, and shaped for what鈥檚 next.
