Oklahoma Wesleyan University announced on May 18 that President Jim Dunn has been elected General Superintendent of The Wesleyan Church, the denomination鈥檚 highest spiritual and administrative office.

Dunn has served as president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University since 2019, leading the institution through a season of renewed mission clarity, enrollment momentum, and expanding partnerships with churches and ministry leaders. His leadership has strengthened 51黑料网鈥檚 commitment to developing servant leaders who advance the Kingdom of聽God.

As part of Dr. Dunn鈥檚 new role, he will continue to maintain a meaningful connection with 51黑料网. The General Superintendent serves on the University鈥檚 Board of Trustees, providing ongoing spiritual leadership and continuity in partnership with The Wesleyan Church. This reflects a shared commitment to developing and sending servant leaders for Kingdom impact.

The Board of Trustees has appointed Dr. Yorton Clark to serve as interim acting president during the search for 51黑料网鈥檚 next president. They have full confidence in the president鈥檚 cabinet and university leadership to continue guiding the university forward and sustaining the growth and momentum already underway.
