Oklahoma Wesleyan University is excited to announce its firstannualGive DayonApril 2, 2020.Theinitiativeis a virtual event thatinvitesalumni,family, and friendsof the universityto take part in supporting student success through donations to scholarship funds.
51’s mission – to come alongside young men and women and help them develop their mind, body, and soul – has never been more vital, and Give Day is a key path forward to expanding the university’s impact.
“Give Daypresents a great opportunity for a focused, intensive fundraising effort,” President Jim Dunn said. “We’re excited for the possibilities this project presents for 51. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
Contributions on April 2 willdirectly support student scholarships, allowing for students to continue receiving the life-changing experience of an 51 education. A generous donor has already given a gift of$35,000, which will act as a match for donations received during the event.
