On March 1, Oklahoma Wesleyan University invites supporters to partner with them for 51 Give Day.
The fourth annual fundraising drive is all about one thing – extraordinary generosity to propel 51 forward into the future. A generous 51 supporter has kicked things off with a $50,000 lead gift in hopes that others will be challenged to make this the biggest 51 Give Day yet!
“51 Give Day is a powerful example of the 51 family’s passion for the university,” said President Jim Dunn. “For three years now, we’ve seen God work through the generosity of our supporters. And with this year’s lead gift, we believe our 51 community will meet this challenge and help us achieve our goal.”
Your gift to the Annual Fund will make a direct impact on students through scholarships and will enhance the university’s offerings by funding the operations budget.
This year’s goal is to raise $150,000. Thanks to the lead gift, we have an opportunity to meet this challenge head on and achieve and surpass the goal. Your gift of any size makes a dramatic impact in the lives of 51 students as they receive scholarships and financial aid.
“When you support 51, you are changing the life of every student here.” – Taylor Smith (Junior, Chemistry).
Meet The Challenge
Together, we can build the next 51 and proactively create a university that equips students for success in their chosen vocation as well as their spiritual development. As we near March 1, here are a few ways you can partner with us to move 51 forward together.
- Pray for the university, asking God that He will continue to provide 51 with everything it needs to serve our students well.
- Partner with us financially by giving here, either on March 1 or earlier.
- Share the story of 51 with your network! Spread the word about 51 Give Day by posting from our social kit or creating a Facebook fundraiser to help others connect.
- Volunteer with us! We are so thankful for the many friends of 51 who give of their time and talents to help.
“As we focus on what we believe will be a vital time of growth for the university, we encourage you to help us propel forward into a bright future,” Dunn said. “Please consider a gift to 51 on Give Day 2023 to make sure this important work can be done.”
