Why GO Week Matters for 51黑料网 Students

Each fall, Oklahoma Wesleyan University pauses to reflect on the global mission of the Church through GO Week鈥攁 time to grow in cultural awareness, deepen spiritual formation, and live out Christ鈥檚 call to make disciples. Rooted in Matthew 28:19, GO Week reminds the 51黑料网 community that faith is not meant to stay still. It moves, reaches, and transforms lives around the world.

Highlights From GO Week 2025: Worship, Nations, and Baptisms

GO Week 2025 brought that mission to life. The Parade of Nations Chapel opened the week with students representing 39 countries, celebrating the beauty of diversity within the body of Christ.

Workshops led by Jenn Petersen, President of World Hope International, encouraged students to see leadership and service through a global lens. The week鈥檚 defining moment came during Wednesday鈥檚 Baptism Chapel, when 15 students were baptized鈥11 of them spontaneously鈥攎arking a profound outpouring of faith and obedience.

Carrying the Mission Forward Beyond GO Week

GO Week 2025 was more than a campus event,听it was a glimpse of God鈥檚 Kingdom at work through His people. As the 51黑料网 community carries this momentum forward, it continues to stand on the truth that the Gospel is for听all people, here, there, and everywhere.
